The „Nymphs of Oradea’s Palaces” Project merges Oradea’s architectural tradition with modern AI art, offering a fresh perspective on the city’s cultural heritage. This project uses image generation technology to create a unique series that combines architectural details of Oradea’s palaces with stylized nymph figures.
The resulting images present nymphs inspired by classical mythology, blended with decorative elements from the facades of the city’s iconic buildings. These nymphs are reimagined with elaborate hairstyles, artistic tattoos, and clothing that reflect the motifs and ornaments found on historical buildings, reinterpreting cultural heritage through a lens of contemporary and symbolic expression.
An impressive collection of 33 large-scale paintings from the project can be admired at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel. Through this blend of realism and fantasy, „Nymphs of Oradea’s Palaces” highlights both the beauty of local architecture and a new vision of the connection between people and heritage, encouraging rediscovery and appreciation of these visual treasures.
